The evening of July 1st, Jessica opened for Turpin's Trail at The Cove in
Westport and singer/songwriter Jon McLurg, also of Turpin's Trail,
accompanied her on guitar. Jessica also played a couple tunes with the band.

Hollyrood Country Jamboree in Belleville, Ontario during the afternoon of

Jessica performed as a special guest for the Larry Mercey Trio Concert at
the Central Westside United Church in Owen Sound, Ontario. Larry Mercey
is formerly of the Mercey Brothers whom were inducted into the
Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame and received numerous Juno Awards.
Jessica opened for the band Beòlach, of Cape Breton, at the ABC Hall in
Bolingbroke for the Festival of Small Halls.
Jessica performed at the CityFolk Festival in Ottawa, on stage with her
fiddle teacher, Cindy Thompson, Graham Lindsay (on left), and two of the
members of the East Pointers of PEI (Koady Chaisson and Jake Charron).
Jessica unexpectedly opened for the opening band, Long Sault Trio who in
turn opened for Gordie MacKeeman and his Rhythm Boys of the East Coast.

that evening. She received a standing ovation for her efforts from

Jessica won first place in the Enterprise Youth Talent Competition!
Jessica started performing with the Big Clear Sound Band. The band
members are Dave Johnston (guitar and vocals), his wife, Mary Johnston
(bass guitar) and Ray Whitelock (guitar and vocals).
In May Jessica performed at Jack's Jam in Plevna and received her
very first standing ovation!
The following night she played during Seniors Night for the
Sharbot Lake Lions' Club and received her second standing ovation!
